Clean beauty is something that you probably heard, and actually it’s what we do here in Jess Beauty. It has been gaining popularity in the past few years because people are becoming more conscious of what they put on their skin and its impact on their health and the environment.

Just as we carefully choose what we eat, it's crucial to be aware of what we put on our skin. Skincare is essential, and using products with good ingredients is a step towards healthy skin.

So, What exactly does it involve? Is it just the natural beauty or is there something more?

As we said before, in JessBeauty we specialized in Clean Beauty, so we can talk hours and hours about this! But to keep it simple: clean beauty means products free from harsh chemicals like paraben, sulfates and synthetic fragrances.

This involves using natural ingredients that come from plants and earth minerals. Are you interested? perfect, now we can keep talking. Read below!

What Exactly Does Clean Beauty Mean?

It's used to describe every form of skincare that is free of harmful chemicals. Clean beauty is a methodology that promotes the use of natural and ethical products to care for the skin while avoiding the unnecessary amounts of chemicals and pollutants. It combines  the quality and natural focus of the traditional skin care beauty industry with the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and environment awareness.

Does Clean Beauty Have To Be All-Natural?

Labeling a product as "natural" does not guarantee its safety or effectiveness. Natural ingredients can not be suitable for your skin type. So it's important to do some research and test them on your hand before using them on your face.

Clean beauty ingredients do not necessarily have to be organic

This basically means that the skincare brands choose the natural ingredients declared safe to use in cosmetics, but also cruelty-free and environment-friendly.

However, we took Clean Beauty a little bit FURTHER and BETTER. All our products in Jess Beauty are:

  • Derived from plants.
  • Vegan.
  • Not tested on animals.
  • Fragrance and alcohol free.
  • Eco-friendly.
  • Sourced sustainably.
