What is Zinc Oxide?

Zinc oxide is a great protector, a natural mineral used in many personal care products due to its ability to shield the skin from the sun's rays.

It's the main ingredient in many sunscreens as it helps keep the skin safe from UV rays. You can find this component in sunscreens, lotions, and lip balms; you just need to apply the product to the skin before exposing yourself to the sun's rays.

In addition to being present in skincare products, zinc oxide is also naturally found in the earth. The primary active ingredient in zinc oxide is its ability to create a physical barrier that reflects UV rays, thus protecting the skin from sun damage.

Benefits:

Sun Protection: It acts as a shield that protects your skin from harmful sun rays, helping to prevent burns and premature aging.

Safe for Sensitive Skin: Perfect for those with sensitive skin, as it tends to be gentle and non-irritating.

Aids in Healing: It can assist in healing wounds and minor abrasions, thanks to its soothing properties.

Non-greasy Texture: Despite being an effective sunscreen, it typically has a lightweight texture that absorbs easily.
