What is Vitis Vinifera?

Vitis vinifera, commonly known as the grapevine, is a species of grape native to the Mediterranean region and parts of Asia. The primary source of Vitis vinifera in skin care is the grape seed, which is transformed into an oil or extract rich in antioxidants, vitamins and essential fatty acids.

Benefits:

Antioxidant: Vitis vinifera is rich in polyphenols, such as resveratrol, which help protect the skin from free radical damage caused by UV exposure and pollution.

Improved Skin Elasticity: Its nourishing properties support collagen production and improve skin elasticity, making it look firmer and more radiant.

Lightweight Hydration: Grape seed oil provides effective hydration without clogging pores, making it ideal for those with oily or acne-prone skin.

Anti-Aging: The high concentration of antioxidants and vitamins in Vitis vinifera helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, promoting a youthful complexion.
