What is Retinaldehyde?

Retinaldehyde, commonly known as retinal, is a form of vitamin A that serves as an intermediate between retinol and retinoic acid. It is a potent yet gentle skincare ingredient that offers significant anti-aging and skin-renewing benefits.

Benefits:

Anti-Aging: Retinaldehyde promotes collagen production and accelerates cell turnover, which helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It enhances skin elasticity and firmness, giving the skin a smoother, more youthful look.

Skin Brightening: It helps to fade hyperpigmentation, dark spots, and sun damage, resulting in a more even and radiant complexion.

Acne Treatment: Retinaldehyde regulates sebum production, prevents clogged pores, and has antibacterial properties that make it effective in treating and preventing acne.

Improved Skin Texture: By promoting the shedding of dead skin cells, retinaldehyde smooths rough skin and enhances overall skin texture.

Gentle Action: Retinaldehyde is less likely to cause irritation compared to other retinoids, making it suitable for those with sensitive skin.
