What is Marula Oil?

Marula oil is extracted from the nuts of the marula tree (Sclerocarya birrea), which is native to southern Africa. The oil is obtained through a cold-pressing process that preserves its beneficial properties. It has been used traditionally by African women for centuries to protect and nourish their skin and hair.

Benefits:

Hydration: Marula oil is high in oleic acid, which helps to lock in moisture and maintain the skin’s hydration levels. It is lightweight and easily absorbed, making it suitable for all skin types, including oily and acne-prone skin.

Antioxidant Properties: The oil is rich in antioxidants, such as vitamin E and vitamin C, which protect the skin from free radical damage and environmental stressors. This helps to reduce signs of aging, including fine lines, wrinkles, and sun damage.

Anti-inflammatory: Marula oil contains anti-inflammatory properties that can help calm and soothe irritated or inflamed skin.

Nutrient-Rich: Marula oil is packed with essential fatty acids, amino acids, and antioxidants that nourish and rejuvenate the skin. These nutrients support skin repair and promote a healthy, glowing complexion.

Non-comedogenic: This means it doesn't clog pores. This makes it an excellent choice for individuals with acne-prone skin, as it helps to balance oil production without causing breakouts.

Skin Elasticity: The high content of fatty acids in marula oil helps to improve skin elasticity and firmness, promoting a more youthful appearance
