What is Macadamia Seed Oil?

Macadamia seed oil is obtained from the nuts of the macadamia tree (Macadamia integrifolia), first discovered in Australia, but today it is cultivated all over the world. This oil is extracted by cold pressing, which helps to preserve its beneficial properties.

The most important ingredients in macadamia seed oil are EFAs, which are essential fatty acids such as palmitoleic acid (a rare acid, found in the omega-7 group) and linoleic acid (omega-6). In addition, the oil extracted from macadamia nuts contains vitamin E, crucial for skin, hair and nails, vitamin A and B vitamins (B1, B2, B3).

Benefits:

Moisturizing: Improves hydration levels, maintains a healthy moisture balance over time and softens the skin without leaving greasy residue.

Anti-Aging: The oil contains squalene and oleic acid, which support cell regeneration and help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Skin Barrier Protection: Helps strengthen the skin's natural barrier, protecting it from environmental stressors and moisture loss.

Healing: Its anti-inflammatory properties help soothe and heal irritated or damaged skin.
