What is Macadamia Oil?

Macadamia Oil is a vegetable oil extracted from macadamia nuts (Macadamia integrifolia or Macadamia tetraphylla), which are native to Australia. This oil is known for its balanced lipid profile and its composition similar to natural skin oils, making it a valuable ingredient in the beauty world.

The main active ingredients in Macadamia Oil include essential fatty acids such as oleic acid, palmitoleic acid and linoleic acid. These maintain the integrity of the skin barrier and provide deep hydration.

It is known for its ability to intensely moisturize skin and hair, leaving them soft and supple. Its rapid absorption also makes it an effective ally in softening dry, rough skin. It is commonly found in products such as moisturizers, serums, conditioners and body oils. It is especially popular in products intended for deep moisturizing and hair strengthening.
