What is Dicaprylyl Ether?

Dicaprylyl ether is a medium-chain ether derived from caprylic acid and capric acid. It's a clear, colorless liquid with emollient properties, meaning it helps soften and moisturize the skin. It provides hydration and smoothness; acting as an emollient agent, it helps improve texture and prevent moisture loss.

It's easily absorbed and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. Its main active component is medium-chain fatty acids, specifically caprylic acid and capric acid.

Benefits:

- Softness: Softens the skin, leaving it with a smoother and more supple texture.

- Non-comedogenic: Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and acne-prone skin, as it doesn't clog pores.

- Quick absorption: Easily absorbed without leaving a greasy or sticky feeling.

- Compatibility: Compatible with other ingredients commonly used in skincare products, making it ideal for multifunctional formulas.
