What is Coenzyme Q10?

Coenzyme Q10, also known as CoQ10 or ubiquinone, is a naturally occurring antioxidant found in the cells of the human body. It plays a crucial role in producing energy within cells and helps to neutralize free radicals, which can damage cells and contribute to aging. As we age, the levels of CoQ10 in our bodies decrease, which can impact the health and appearance of our skin.

Benefits:

Anti-Aging: Helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by boosting cellular energy production and promoting skin regeneration. It also protects the skin from oxidative stress, which is a major factor in aging.

Antioxidant Protection: As a powerful antioxidant, helps to neutralize free radicals that cause oxidative damage to the skin. This protects the skin from environmental aggressors such as pollution and UV radiation.

Improves Skin Elasticity: By supporting the production of collagen and elastin, CoQ10 helps to maintain the skin's firmness and elasticity, making the skin look more youthful and supple.

Brightening: Can help to even out skin tone and reduce the appearance of dark spots and pigmentation, giving the skin a brighter and more radiant appearance.

Hydration: CoQ10 supports the skin's barrier function, which helps to retain moisture and keep the skin hydrated.

Soothing: Contains anti-inflammatory properties that can help to calm and soothe irritated skin, making it suitable for sensitive skin types.
