What is Blue Tansy Oil?

Blue tansy oil (also known as blue tansy or Moroccan tansy) is obtained from the flowers of the Moroccan chamomile plant (Tanacetum annuum), native to Morocco. Although the plant is yellow, the oil takes on its characteristic blue color during the distillation process, thanks to the large amount of antioxidants it contains, in particular a component called chamazulene, a natural compound with anti-inflammatory properties.
In addition to chamazulene, the plant contains guaiol and guaiazulene, two compounds that contribute to significantly reducing irritations. Also identified in its composition were 3,6-dihydro chamazulene, a-phellandrene, b-eudesmol, b-myrcene len and sabinene

Benefits:

Antihistamine and anti-inflammatory: Thanks to several of its components, blue tansy oil helps reduce inflammation, redness, minimize allergy outbreaks and itching. It is ideal for sensitive or irritated skin.

Anti-Acne: Possessing antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, it is ideal to fight acne, reduce its size and prevent future outbreaks.

Moisturizing: Reduces dryness and provides moisture to the skin barrier, leaving the skin soft and supple without feeling greasy.

Antioxidant: Contains antioxidants that protect the skin from free radical damage, environmental stressors and help prevent premature aging.
