What is Bakuchiol?

Bakuchiol is an ingredient derived from the plant Psoralea corylifolia, also known as "babchi" or "bakuchiol seed." It has gained popularity in the dermatology and cosmetics industry as an alternative to or ally of retinol.

Traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, bakuchiol stimulates collagen and elastin production in the skin, helping to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

It helps reduce inflammation, alleviate irritation, and improve skin sensitivity. This makes it an attractive option for individuals with sensitive or redness-prone skin.

Bakuchiol is commonly found in skincare products such as facial serums, moisturizers, facial oils, and anti-aging treatments. It is often combined with other natural ingredients to enhance its beneficial effects.

 Benefits:

⦁ Moisturizing: Bakuchiol helps maintain skin hydration, reducing dryness and promoting a smoother texture.

⦁ Antioxidant:
It protects against free radicals, supporting the skin's natural defenses and preventing premature aging.

⦁ Anti-Inflammatory:
Bakuchiol calms inflammation, making it suitable for sensitive or irritated skin.
